It is definite that this earth and heaven will end, and a new earth and heaven will be established. It is also definite that there will be life after death.
Do you think that the new earth and new heaven will be established after everyone has died? Do you know that there are two types of deaths? There is physical death and spiritual death. Physical death is separation of the body from the spirit while spiritual death is separation from God caused by sin.
I will submit and admit to you that not believer will die a physical death but we will all be changed. The dead will rise from death a new creation, and the living will be transformed into a new creation. We will be a new creation that will not be subject to death or condemnation. Death is brought about by sin, whose foundation is the law. Our union with Jesus Christ will render this law null and void, and apparently we will be free from death. It is safe to say that death will be the last enemy to be defeated.
